Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety management plans at the worksite.
Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and enforce corrective measures.
Carry out daily toolbox talks, inspections, audits, and safety observations.
Ensure compliance with KOC HSE regulations and project-specific safety protocols.
Report unsafe acts, incidents, near-misses, and ensure root-cause investigations are completed.
Maintain documentation: safety reports, permits, checklists, and incident logs.
Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and management to improve safety culture.
Provide HSE training and guidance to workers and subcontractors.

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Safety Officer in the Oil & Gas industry (mandatory).
Experience in KOC/Kuwait-based projects is an advantage.
Nebosh certification preferred (IGC or equivalent).
Additional HSE certifications (IOSH, OSHA, First Aid, Fire Safety) are a plus.
Strong understanding of risk management, PTW systems, HSE documentation, and site safety protocols.
Good communication and reporting skills.
